The Canadian Catholic Indigenous Council, founded in 1998 by the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops, proposes that the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe be a national day of prayer in solidarity with Aboriginal peoples. All are invited to pray for Aboriginal people today.
